I am learning to inform my audience by sharing an entertaining moment.
It’s sitting on my plate. It looked disgusting, smell disgusting but most of all it tasted disgusting. I turn my back to the dish and cover my nose. All I can think of is the taste of these horrible mushy squares.
Mum scoops some onto my plate spoonful, after spoonful. Little orange lumps fall onto my plate one after the other as I refuse to eat them. I cover my nose with my t-shirt as the smell starts to get too overwhelming for me.
There are now hundreds of little squares of roasted carrot sitting on my plate. I eat a couple, as the taste exploded in my mouth at this moment I feel like I'm going to throw up. I tried to swallow. This spoonful was successful, Mum tells me to try some more but as I pick up the fork once more I hiccup but it’s not a normal one… it’s like half a hiccup and half vomit. It was the worst sensation that I’ve ever felt.
