Room 6 graph

In Room 6 maths class we have been doing statistical investigations. First we learnt about Stem and Leaf graphs and did fun investigations on sports. We also learnt how to make graphs on Excel. We learnt how to make Pie graphs and different types of Bar graphs. Below are some of the graphs I have made on Excel.

During reading we have been learning about people who have faced challenges and have stood up for what they believed in. They have either been a voice for people that don't have one or a person who never gave up when facing challenges.

Cyber Safety

Room 6 has been learning about Cyber Safety.We have learnt a lot about being a digital citizen.Here are three key rules that I think are important.

1.Be careful of what you post on the internet. All information and images leave a digital footprint.

2.Never share your personal details such as full name,age,address and passwords with any people who say they know you.

3.Be nice! No one likes a digital bully. Be respectful and be a great digital citizen

If you ever are unsure check with an ADULT!

Liam And The Great Big Orange Thing

I am learning to write about what happens before during and after an event

Liam is a normal kid, he has dark hair and light blue eyes that glistens every time he goes out in the sun. Like everybody else he wakes up and gets ready to go to school. He has breakfast every morning. but one day as he leaves his house to go to school, he finds himself face to face with a giant orange robot with weird tentacle like things sticking out of its side.

He dived under it. But it squeezes him with it’s huge thick mechanical legs. Then it grabs him with one of it’s weird tentacle like things and sits him on his back. Suddenly all the metal in the area starts to move toward us. In response the robot starts to run, all the metal behind us is picking up speed, the robot runs faster and faster.The next thing he know I’m speeding down the road at 100mph. It feels like I’m in a convertible with no windscreen on the motorway. The people on the sidewalk are gaping at us. I then feel something gurgling in my stomach. . .then suddenly vomit comes hurling out of my mouth and splatters all over the back of this beast like robot. It stops and falls down to the ground all the magnetic things that had been chasing us thudder to a stop.

Liam's lying on back,he’s in his bed under his blankets and covered in vomit, Liam was relieved it was a dream after all.
